Louise's Farm School "Ravens" class will be exploring how observations of natural world can lead to clues about the changing seasons. For Fascinating Phenology students will learn about how to make technical drawings, maps, and participate in citizen science efforts with various agencies.

Jess's post about Cottonwood trees
Today the cottonwood has less than 30 leaves. There is a big branch balancing high in the tree that we didn't notice before. And there is some bark missing on the branches on the cottonwood. The cottonwoods are called that because cotton fluff floats off their flowers in the springtime.

Hi this is Eadaion responding to your comment on my blog. Mt. saint helen is huge but I don't know the hight of the mountain. It has a big water fall on it that we could see from spirit lake. we had fun at camp cicpus (a camp all the sixth graders get to go to.) is it fun on the farm or is it really hard?
